Maintenance & Durability
The main enemies of your jewelry are moisture and chemicals. Avoid contact with water (swimming pools, the ocean, showers), perfumes, cosmetics, alcohol, and acids. Put on your jewelry after applying makeup and perfume. After each use, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Store it in its original case. Any adjustable jewelry should be put on and taken off by sliding it on and off; never force it by pulling it apart or squeezing it.
Clean using a soft brush and slightly soapy cold water ( Marseille soap). Rinse with clean cold water. Dry thoroughly; never use hot water. When using a blow dryer, use only cold air. The impregnated cleaning cloths available on gasbijoux.com are very effective for regular maintenance.

Fine gold plating is a precious coating applied to the surface of the jewelry. Over time and with wear and tear (friction, sweat, water, and other substances), it may naturally fade. This is a normal occurrence. We offer a re-plating service in our workshop to restore the jewelry to its full luster.
Green tarnish is a natural oxidation process caused by a chemical reaction between brass, sweat, cosmetic residues, and moisture. It is not a manufacturing defect. It can often be removed by cleaning with cold soapy water. Regular maintenance using a damp chamois cloth helps slow down this process. Our workshop also offers professional cleaning in a bath.
Gas Bijoux cold enamel (pigments applied without high-temperature firing). These enamels are delicate: they may tarnish or crack when exposed to perfume or alcohol. Avoid contact with these substances. Clean with a dry cloth only. Never put enameled jewelry in a vibrating tumbler. Store separately from other jewelry.
Gently scrub with a soft, dry toothbrush; never use water. Never bend the central rib, as this will cause it to break permanently. Avoid contact with alcohol-based products. Store flat, away from direct light.
To prevent tarnishing, store your jewelry in its original pouch or box, away from air and light. Jewelry stored properly in its case will retain its gold plating for much longer. Never store multiple pieces of jewelry together without protection; friction can damage enamel and gold plating.

To submit a claim: bring your jewelry and proof of purchase to a Gas Bijoux store or corner. Simple repairs (cleaning, reattaching rhinestones): approximately 15 days. Complex repairs (soldering, re-gilding, replacing settings, restringing): 4 to 8 weeks. These turnaround times may be longer during the annual holiday season.

Yes. The Gas Bijoux workshop Gas Bijoux repair pieces from the brand, even those purchased 10, 15, or 20 years ago, provided it is technically feasible.
For jewelry that is more than three years old and requires a complete restoration (gilding, enamel work, restringing, etc.), the fee is approximately 40% of the original retail price. For simple jewelry (gilding or silver plating only), the fee starts at €30.
A quote is always provided for any repair costing more than €35. Gas Bijoux decline a repair if it is not possible to restore the piece in a manner consistent with its original design, or if the necessary components are no longer available.
Yes. Gas Bijoux a re-gilding (plating with fine gold) and re-silvering service. These plating processes are carried out in an independent French laboratory that partners with Gas Bijoux and is REACH-certified, which explains the price and guarantees the quality of the treatment.
This service is subject to a fee (starting at €30 depending on the item; estimated turnaround time of 8 weeks) and is not available for link bracelets. The gold plating is covered by our 2-year warranty, provided the item is used properly (proof of purchase must be provided).
Important: Jewelry featuring loose feathers cannot be immersed in a treatment bath. Only models with feathers integrated into the body of the piece (Sao, Bermude, Irène) are eligible for this service.
Rhinestones and cabochons are secured with professional jewelry adhesives. Their adhesion may be compromised by contact with chemicals (perfume, alcohol, cosmetics) and repeated minor impacts.
Rhinestones are not covered by the Gas Bijoux warranty Gas Bijoux 6 months from the date of purchase. However, replacements can be made in our workshop (processing time: approximately 15 days), and the repair is guaranteed for 6 months from the date of return, provided the same rhinestone is replaced in the same location.
For routine care: gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth or a damp chamois cloth (available in-store and at gasbijoux.com). This is usually all that’s needed.
For a deeper clean: use a soft brush and slightly soapy cold water ( Marseille soap), rinse with cold water, and dry immediately and thoroughly. Never use hot water. If using a blower dryer, use cold air only.
By material: Feathers: a soft, dry toothbrush. Stones and mother-of-pearl: monoi oil on a chamois cloth. Enamels and rhinestones: a dry cloth only; never use a polishing wheel. Acetate: a dry cloth; no cleaning products.
Depending on the model, it is possible to switch between clip-on and post styles, starting at €12. The price may vary depending on the complexity of the replacement: some models require soldering, re-enameling, or the replacement of a rhinestone.
This customization is not available on all enameled models (Sequin, Tornado, Illusion, Éventail, etc.). Please contact our customer service department or visit a store to determine whether this option is available for your item.
Depending on their design, some pieces of jewelry can be adjusted in length. Pieces made of mesh or chain are generally adjustable. Pieces made of wrapped wire, braided cord, or raffia generally cannot be altered. Please contact our customer service department with a photo for an assessment.
The cost of a repair depends on the type of work required (re-gilding, rhinestone replacement, soldering, re-stringing, etc.). A quote is always provided before any work is performed if the cost exceeds €35. Simple repairs start at €10 (cleaning) and €15 (rhinestone reattachment, cord replacement). Re-gilding starts at €30.

The product must be returned in its original condition and in its original packaging.

Once your return request has been approved, you will receive an email containing your prepaid return label and instructions on how to return your package.
All return requests must be reported in advance.

Regarding your return request, you have two options:
- A store credit to obtain a prepaid return label. This credit will be valid for 4 months on the online store and must be used in a single transaction.
However, you will have the option to complete your purchase by making an additional payment of any amount on the online store.
-Refundsare at your expense. Customs duties must be paid in advance for all returns; otherwise, we will not be able to accept your package.

You will receive a UPS shipping label as soon as possible so that you can return the item in its original packaging, with all required labels properly affixed.
As soon as the item arrives in the store, we will be sure to let you know, and we will submit a refund request to France.

Upon receipt of the returned product, the refund will be issued according to the buyer’s preference in the form of:
- A store credit valid on the online store www.gasbijoux.fr. This store credit will be valid for 6 months and must be used in its entirety. However, you may add any additional amount of your choice on the online store.
- A refund credited directly to your bank account or PayPal account, depending on the payment method used when placing the order.
The refund amount will be equal to the price of the returned product, minus any penalties, with the exception of return shipping costs associated with the downloadable return label, which will be automatically deducted from your refund (€3

In the case of a refund or store credit, except for defective products or an order error on our part, the shipping costs for your original order cannot be refunded.

Click & Collect
After confirming your cart, when selecting your shipping method, choose the Click & Collect option. A list of our stores offering this service will appear, and you can select the store of your choice to have your order delivered there free of charge. This service is available only at our stores in France (with the exception of the Saint-Tropez store).
For stores in Paris: delivery takes 1 to 2 business days. For stores outside Paris: delivery takes 3 to 5 business days. You can contact our customer service team for a more precise delivery estimate based on the specific store.
As soon as your order arrives at our store, we will send you an email notifying you that it is ready for pickup. You have 15 days to pick it up. To collect your order, you must bring a valid ID and present the email confirming its availability. We will send a reminder after 10 to 15 days, and after 28 days, your order will no longer be available in-store and you will automatically receive a refund.
When you pick up your Click & Collect order at one of our stores, if certain items do not meet your expectations, we offer several options:
- In-store option: you can exchange the item for another product available in the store.
- The Eshop Solution: The store will handle the return of the product(s) ordered through our Eshop. You may request a refund, which will be processed by the Eshop department within 15 days, or receive a store credit valid exclusively on the Eshop for a period of 4 months.
