An Icon of the House Gas Bijoux

There are certain pieces that stand the test of time without ever losing their luster. This summer, it’s Paris Match magazine’s turn to spotlight one of our House’s most iconic pieces in its “Le style de Match” column: the legendary Strada bracelet.

The Strada Amarante: A Contemporary Reinterpretation

Created in 1985 and reimagined for the new season under the name Strada Amarante, this signature piece stands out for its famous tubogas chain—flexible and delicately stretchy—which hugs the wrist with absolute ease. In this version reimagined by Marie Gas, our artistic director, hand-cut, uncut cabochons of gemstones , amazonite, and carnelian are framed by our iconic gold twists, offering a contemporary and wildly graphic twist on the family legacy that began on the beaches of Saint-Tropez in 1969.

craftsmanship , a passionate member of the Marseille Workshop

Behind this apparent simplicity lie more than two years of development and the passionate craftsmanship s of our Marseille workshop. To bring the Strada Amarante to life, no fewer than five exceptional crafts revolve around metal: goldsmiths, enamelers, stone setters, engravers, and polishers combine their skills with a precision worthy of fine jewelry. The fine-gold-plated “ torsade ,” delicately hand-wound by our artisans, gives each piece its unique character and that very special radiance that are the signature of Gas Bijoux.
