Studio House

In 1969, on the beaches of Saint-Tropez, André Gas, a young artist from Marseille and a graduate of the Beaux-Arts, laid the foundations for a unique house-studio. His first handmade jewels, lucky charms inspired by the Mediterranean light, immediately captivated the women of the Riviera.
A House was born.

It is on the heights of Marseille that the House finds its definitive home. In this historic workshop overlooking the Mediterranean, 70 artisan-creators bring each creation to life — cutting, assembling, polishing, hammering, and enameling by hand. Creation and manufacturing coexist under the same roof, guaranteeing absolute excellence in every piece.

A Family Story

André Gas's greatest success is perhaps having been able to transmit his energy, passion, and curiosity to his children, who joined him in the early 2000s.

Olivier Gas, CEO, combines heritage and international development. True to the spirit of excellence that defines Gas Bijoux, he cultivates a unique relationship with each point of sale — a network of over 500 partners in nearly 50 countries.

Marie Gas, Artistic Director, consistently meets the challenge of blending novelty and tradition. From jewelry creation to boutique staging and brand image, her intimate and delicate vision permeates the entire Gas Bijoux universe. She inspires the workshop with desires for colors, ideas for shapes, and unexpected material combinations, paving the way for the House's future.

Transmission & Innovation

Since 1969, artisanal craftsmanship has been at the heart of every Gas Bijoux creation. In 2011, the French State recognized this by awarding the House the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company) label, the highest distinction for exceptional know-how.

In the Marseille workshop, ten specialized crafts coexist: goldsmiths, enamelers, stone setters, feather artists, engravers, polishers... A simple hoop earring requires thirteen operations. Gas Bijoux creates limited editions: when the material is exhausted, the series stops. This commitment to excellence is what makes all the difference.

This expertise is passed down and reinvented with each collection. Like Amarante – born from an earring from the 1980s, reinterpreted after two years of development and twenty prototypes – each creation is a living act of transmission, between heritage and enlightenment.

While Andre Gas provides the daily creative impetus, each piece of jewelry comes to life thanks to the expertise of a team of over 80 artisans. Following a precise process, the pieces are cut, assembled, polished, hammered, brushed, strung, packaged, enameled, and finished by hand. A simple silver hoop earring, for example, requires 13 different operations.
